Town of Trenton Planning Board 02-05-2024

February 5, 2024

Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M.

1. DG Market (on the site of the former bowling alley)

John Panzone was delayed so the meeting began without him.  The board reviewed the SEQR responses received from Don Ehre, Mohawk Valley Water Board, Oneida County Planning Department and the Oneida County Health Department as well as the plans previously submitted by DG Market.  John Bunker is the new Planning Board member, and the review process was explained to him as the board reviewed the plans.

Panzone arrived at 7:05.  The board reviewed with Panzone their concerns.  Panzone had secretary draft a letter to Carson Styles requesting a written response to Don Ehre’s comments in his report dated January 23, 2024.

The Public hearing is scheduled for February 19^th.

2. New board members: With the exit of Chris Crumb and Dave Constable, 2 full-time board member positions opened up that are now filled by John Bunker and Spencer Farr. There is now an open position for an alternate.  Panzone asked the secretary to advise Steve Godfrey about this.

3. Minutes for January 2024: Joe made a motion to accept the minutes. Bill seconded. All approved.

4. Tug Hill Conference: Secretary reminded the board about the upcoming Tug Hill Conference at Turning Stone Casino and passed out the applications and gave deadline for submission.

5. Adjournment

Joe made a motion to adjourn; John seconded.  All approved.  Meeting ended 7:30.

• The Public Hearing and special meeting will be held on Monday February 19, 2024 at 6:30.
• The March meeting will be held on Monday March 4, 2024 at 6:30.
