Town of Trenton Dog License

NYS requires all dogs over the age of 6 months to be licensed.

To APPLY FOR A DOG LICENSE, please bring the following to the Town Clerk’s Office.

New Dog Application
Copy of Rabies Vaccination Certificate
Spay / Neuter Certificate
$7 / $15 Fee (based on spay / neuter status)

If your dog is already licensed with the Town of Trenton, you have the option to renew online at the following link: (This only works if your rabies vaccine is current)

The Town of Trenton hosts a Rabies Clinic sponsored by the Oneida County Health Department.

An appointment is required. To register for an appointment: Call the Town Clerk’s Office : 315-896-2664.
A $10.00 Donation per pet is requested to help with the costs.

Dogs need to be on a leash and cats need to be in a carrier.
No exams will be given.
