Marriage License Information
All Marriage Licenses issued are by appointment only
Both parties must appear in person before the Town Clerk and be at least 18 years of age with the following documentation:
- Government Issued Picture Identification (NYS Driver’s License or U.S. Passport)
- Birth Related Document (Original /Transcript of Birth Certificate w/ Seal)
- Social Security Cards
- Divorce Papers and/ or Death Certificates (for previous marriages if applies)
- $40.00 payment in the form of cash, check or credit card
There is a 24-hour waiting period after the license is obtained and it is valid for 60 days from date of issue.
