TRANSIENT RETAIL BUSINESS: A Transient Merchant License is required of any retail or wholesale business conducted in a temporary structure, tent, table or other platform; from a truck, van, trailer or other vehicle; on a parking lot or vacant parcel of land; on a part of public right-of-way, or in any place other than from a permanent structure for a temporary period of time.
INSTRUCTIONS: A Transient Merchant License must be obtained from the Town of Trenton Zoning Enforcement Officer a minimum of Seven (7) calendar days before the business is undertaken. This application must be completed and accompanied by a letter of permission from the property owner, copy of business license and/or driver's license, and an application fee of $25.00 (which will apply to the first months Licensing Fee), payable to the Town of Trenton. License will be good for up to six months, with $25.00 due each month of operation.
